About the Position
As a mechanic at Nammo, you will work on planning and performing preventive and corrective maintenance as well as repairs of production equipment. You will conduct inspections, lead or participate in projects, and coordinate work with external contractors. The role also involves improvement work and reporting in the maintenance system. You will work independently with the title of mechanic but will have close collaboration with production and the technical department, giving you significant responsibility and the opportunity to influence.
Scope: Full-time
Working Hours: Daytime Monday–Friday

Job Description
As a mechanic, you will become a key person in Nammo's team for technology and maintenance. You will work independently but in close collaboration with production and external contractors. The role involves both preventive and corrective maintenance, inspections, and improvement work. You will have the opportunity to take responsibility for coordination and development of work methods, making the position perfect for you who want to grow in your professional role.
The main tasks include:
- Preventive and corrective maintenance of machines and equipment
- Inspections and controls according to applicable instructions
- Coordination of maintenance efforts with contractors
- Participation in projects and improvement work
- Reporting in the maintenance system and handling of spare parts
We are looking for someone who
We are looking for someone who enjoys responsibility and independent work, but at the same time finds it easy to collaborate with others. The role requires you to be flexible, structured, and confident. You need to be proactive, communicative, and have good physical fitness. We look forward to applicants with:
- At least three years of experience as a mechanic in the industry
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and reading technical drawings
- Driving license B (requirement)
- Hot work and mobile work platforms are advantageous
